Dr. Schanfield is both an associate and clinical professor for the University of Minnesota Medical School in family practice and neurology, and twice has been awarded teacher of the year. He has been on the board of directors for both East and West Metro Area Multispecialty organizations. He is a former Chair of St. John’s Hospital Department Internal Medicine, and United Hospital Neuroscience Department. His special interests include Alzheimer’s disease, neuromuscular disorders, EMG, and EEG, as well as general neurology

Dr. Ormiston’s special interests are neurorehabilitation for head injury and stroke, neurological behavior disorders, headache and Multiple sclerosis (MS). He is past Director of the Neurobehavioral Brain Injuries Unit at Bethesda Hospital and past Director of Acute Rehabilitation at Bethesda. He is also past President of Health East Hospitals Medical Staff and holds a degree in pharmacology. He is an invited speaker for national and international brain injury and rehabilitation seminars.
